new-depoA smart move

In order to better serve its customers, KFF has invested £6.5 million in a purpose built head office and distribution centre in Aylesford, Kent.

Spanning 3.5 acres, the new facility boasts four state-of-the-art composite loading bays, a design unique to KFF.  This allows frozen and chilled/ambient goods to be loaded at the same time, therefore giving total temperature integrity at every stage of the distribution process.

The move brings the whole business together, with all departments being located under one roof, promoting enhanced communication and efficiency of stock control and distribution.

Comments Andy Weir, Marketing Manager: “What this means to our customers is that we can strive to achieve even better continuity of supply and therefore further reinforce our reputation for excellent customer service. In addition, the new site will allow considerable room for expansion, it is not unrealistic to predict that we could easily accommodate a threefold increase in business in the coming years.”

Managing Director Paul Clarke adds: “I can only credit our superb staff for their enthusiasm and hard efforts in the smooth execution of the move. Within 48 hours the whole operation had shifted without a single hitch and our customers were hardly aware of the changes. I couldn’t have wished for a better result.”
