kff tastes success on its doorstep with Shepherd Neame contract win
kff, the leading independent wholesaler in the South East, has been awarded the contract to supply chilled, frozen and ambient foods to Kent based brewery Shepherd Neame’s managed houses in the South East.
Comments kff marketing manager Andy Weir: “As a local company whose ethos very much mirrors our own, kff is delighted to have secured the sole supplier contract with Shepherd Neame. We feel confident that our product range, advocating local produce, will offer Shepherd Neame not only the highest quality products but also a point of difference for their menus.”
Both kff and Shepherd Neame are members of Produced in Kent, an organisation which promotes the diversity of the county’s food and drink products.
Says Shepherd Neame retail director Nigel Bunting: “There is a great deal of synergy between Shepherd Neame and kff, we are both established family-run businesses, championing local produce, sourcing local suppliers wherever possible to promote sustainability, and giving chefs access to the finest ingredients.
“The agreement helps us further support Kent’s economy and reduce the environmental impact of deliveries to our pubs. It provides a reliable, convenient service, offering our customers high quality, traceable food.”
In addition to a diverse and unique product range, Shepherd Neame will also benefit from unrivalled service that kff can offer, including deliveries from multi temperature vehicles.
