Duties will include:
Complete all deliveries to customers within the given timescales. 
Complete all daily vehicle checks and follow the correct defect reporting procedures. 
To complete documentation accurately and clearly. 
Operate the vehicle in a safe and economical manner at all times ensuring that it is maintained in a clean and tidy state. 
Effectively communicate problems and delays to all relevant parties. 
Safely loading and unloading whilst complying with the correct procedure for given location. 
Maintain a full knowledge of the Highway code, Working Time Directive, EU Drivers Hours Regulations and vehicle operations. 
To ensure all Legal Health and Safety legislation and Operational procedures are adhered to at all times and to work within Health and Safety Guidelines at all times ensuring the safety of self and others. 
To ensure all Personnel procedures are adhered to and completed as required. 
To maintain a positive and caring attitude towards customers whilst delivering to their premises. 
To be considered for this role the ideal candidate must have:
LGV 2 C Driving Licence and Drivers’ Certificate of Professional Competence. 
Good customer facing skills / polite and friendly manner. 
Valid CPC Qualification card

  • Credit Controller

    Key responsibilities will include:
     
    Posting daily cash
    Daily downloading of banking’s extracted from Barclays.net.
    Cash receipts are collated and posted daily ensuring the allocation is correct to any remittance advices received and all batches are reconciled back to daily banking’s (Bacs list, cheques received, credit card receipts).

    Liaising with customers, drivers, sales managers (field and telesales) as appropriate to ensure customer ledgers are accurate.

    All credit card transactions are processed in line with internal procedures to ensure they are in line with PCIDSS regulations.

    Ensuring account opening processes are covered in absence of the Account Sales Administrator.
    Perform credit checking using Equifax in absence of Accounts Sales Administrator.
     
    Other admin duties
    A number of customers require their own excel statements/consolidated invoices, these need to be completed accurately and timely according to the customers’ requirements.
    Weekly copy invoices produced for customers and sent according to customer requirements.
    Drivers cashing in sheets reviewed to ensure the driver’s cash collection process is correctly followed and reporting of incorrect following of procedures.
    Messages are completed for individual customers regarding payment, non-collection of debt etc.
    Maintain other duties accurately and efficiently.
