We currently have an immediate vacancy for a Customer Care Advisor to join our friendly Customer Care team in Aylesford, Kent.
This role will be providing support to customers calling and emailing, liaising with all areas of the business to investigate and solve customer queries. Contributing to a thriving Sales Team with great customer services and the ability to meet the needs of customers who need assistance.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

Investigate and resolve customer complaints quickly and patiently, including assistance of customers who may have received their orders late, have received the wrong order or have received faulty products.

Maintain thorough and accurate customer service records.
-
Keep confidential records and financial information private and secure.
-
Learn how to use database systems and technology to deliver great customer care.
-
Liaise with Company suppliers to arrange collections, investigations and credits from complaints or product recalls that have arisen.

Communicate with customers about their orders, including any delays or changes in delivery.

Communicate to customers details of any product recall notifications.

The principle purpose of this role is to be responsible for, exceeding sterling and profit targets for kff within a defined geographical area, by selling a range of chilled, dry and frozen products from the kff range. Area Sales Managers are expected to generate their own opportunities and develop business in both existing and new business sectors.
The ASM has a direct report into the Regional Sales Manager.

To exceed both sterling sales target and the company profit margin target.

Maximize business for the company through existing customer base using intelligent and efficient call coverage.

Generate own new business opportunities with customers matching kff’s target profile.

Track daily, weekly and quarterly performance against agreed KPI’s and targets.

Competency profile required/Person specification:

Preferably minimum 2 years sales experience in Food Sector sales, showing a result’s driven sales career to-date.
- Has passion for food and can demonstrate creativity in menu design and understands portioning control, menu planning and financial costing etc.
- Competent in demonstrating that they can communicate at all levels both verbally and written.
- Confident in cold calling as well as customer care and development of existing customers.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritise.
- PC Literate and confident in using Microsoft packages especially excel.
- Can demonstrate a “self –starter” approach to their role and own development.
- Understanding of the principles of Persuasive/Consultative Selling process.

We currently have an immediate vacancy for a full time Trainee Buyer to join our friendly team in Aylesford, Kent.
Reporting into the Head of Procurement for Grocery, Frozen and Dairy, the main functions of the role will be to provide support to the procurement team with wide ranging buying activities as well as managing a core set of suppliers and maintaining strong supplier relationships in order to achieve optimum commercial benefit.
Key responsibilities:

Work with colleagues and suppliers to ensure required quality, price and service standards are met or exceeded at all times

Participate in product and category panels to deliver continuous improvement in product range, quality and pricing

Conduct category reviews and product gap analysis to deliver continuous improvement in product range, quality and pricing

Liaise with other departments to ensure continuity of supply and successful execution of new product launches

Ad hoc. procurement issues – eg. problematic deliveries, out of stocks, product availability, damages etc.

Sourcing products and/or new suppliers as a result of customer requests, gap analysis or company requirements which deliver competitive advantage but don’t compromise quality

Ensuring product changes are managed in line with company policy and communicated accordingly to all relevant stakeholders

Liaising with stock control and operations teams on forecasting, stock holdings and availability issues
-
Supplier/Customer/Exhibition visits in order to maintain and improve product knowledge as well as identifying new product opportunities and ensuring customers’ needs are met

Liaising with Sysco companies and personnel accordingly in order to meet group requirements and targets as part of the world’s global foodservice leader
