Festive Street Foods - Churros

Ingredients:

SYSCO CLASSIC Ground Cinnamon (052634)

CHEF WILLIAM Ground Ginger (052695)

SYSCO Whole Cloves (053238)

TATE & LYLE Golden Caster Sugar (054678)

SYSCO EARTH PLUS Large Food To Go Tray 190 x 130 x 60mm (5002557)

MACPHIE Brandy Sauce (5005430)

Churros Sticks (556576)

Strawberries (DV0090)

Directions:

Grind cloves in a pestle and mortar until fine and powdery, add to sugar, ground ginger and ground cinnamon and mix well.
Deep fry churros in hot oil set to 190 degrees for 2-3 minutes
Drain and roll in the sugar and spice mix
Heat brandy sauce
Serve churros in tray, drizzle with brandy sauce and fresh strawberries
