kff have a fantastic opportunity for a Buying Administrator to join the team on a full-time permanent basis based at our Aylesford office, reporting to the Head of Procurement. This is a Monday – Friday role offering a hybrid working contract, and you will be required to work in the Aylesford office 3 times per week.
 
As a Buying Administrator at kff, you will provide all round administrative support to the buying and marketing teams to help grow the business and achieve Company objectives. You will have the appetite to manage a small group of products and suppliers and have the desire to progress into a buying role.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
 
  • Manage a product range of one or two categories and suppliers with aim to build expertise and progress into buying role.
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders and building and maintaining relationships both internally and with suppliers.
  • Reviewing and analysing buying and marketing communications, making improvements to improve business performance.
  • Providing administrative support to the procurement and marketing teams.
  • Maintenance to Chorus systems including managing price increases and queries, setting up new products and delisting products.
  • Create daily, weekly and monthly reports; including New Line Stock Sold, Sample Request Data, and Potential Saving Reports.
  • Raising invoices and maintaining terms spreadsheets.
  • Ensuring maximum commercial benefit at year end.
  • Running monthly reports to track supplier performance against forecast.
  • Conducting category reviews and gap analysis.
  • Maintaining buying file.
  • Assisting on cost comparison projects/supplier reviews/benchmarking exercises.
  • Assisting on tender requests..
  • Assisting with buying team to help set up sales team presentation days.
  • Provide project change and promotion updates.
  • Keeping supplier contact details updated.
About you:
The successful candidate will be degree educated or on a CIPS pathway with previous experience in buying/procurement admin or previous experience in a Junior Buying role. This role will give the successful candidate exposure to working for a global organization and a good level of commercial awareness is needed in this role. The ideal candidate will also have strong numeracy and organizational skills and be able to juggle priorities and effectively manage working to deadlines. Having a product knowledge of Wholesale and Foodservice is highly advantageous. This role is suited to someone with an excellent work ethic who is looking for career progression in a global organization.
