    We currently have an immediate vacancy for a Warehouse colleague/Van Driver to join our friendly team in Aylesford, Kent.

  • Driver returns

  • Afternoon collection from local meat supplier

    We currently have an immediate vacancy for a full time Stock Checker to join our friendly team in Aylesford, Kent.
    Reporting into the Supply Chain Manager the main function of this role consists of counting stock holding for multi-temp products across a variety of categories and two locations. The stock checker will review stock discrepancies on a daily basis to ensure the stock levels are correct at all times to ensure the system accurately reflects our physical stock holding. The stock checker will also support the team with ensuring waste figures meet KPI’s to balance the Company’s spend across availability and waste, ensuring profitability.
     
    Key Activities & Responsibilities:
  • To ensure that the physical stock quantities match the available quantities on the system.
  • Investigate stock discrepancies each day and update the system to maintain accurate stock position.
  • To assist the stock control and goods in teams in ad hoc counts when queries arise.
  • Support the warehouse team with damaged or waste product to ensure all stock adjustments are captured and accurate. 
  • Support the stock control team with month end and year end counts as required
  • To work in a team-based environment where all managers/employees work together for the good of the business
  • Via both formal and informal meetings ensure that your line manager is kept updated on any opportunities or threats that could impact the business
  • Through the department provide ongoing intelligence/data/information that can be used by other departments in order to make more informed decisions
  • Ensure that all applicable legislation (H&S, Hygiene, BRC, etc) for a modern food business are in place and adhered to by all and that any violations are reported to the business
  • Maintain and contribute to a working knowledge of KFF policies and regulations.
  • Specific projects or activities as directed by either your line manager or KFF board.
